Our Merlot is similar to a Beaujolais Nouveau, created without oaking and is meant to be enjoyed "young." A medium-body wine with flavors of plum, currant and berry, it has slightly higher acidity, and pairs well with grilled entrees, fish and green vegetables.
Of light to medium body with an aroma reminiscent of black cherry, raspberry or currant. The grape's color, when young, often compared to that of garnet, is often much lighter than that of other red wines.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon has an unmistakable texture and black currant nose. Pairs well with steak or dishes with a heavy butter cream sauce, bitter foods or with cooking methods that involve charring like grilling. Typically pairs well with a variety of cheeses, such as cheddar, mozzarella and brie.
Our Riesling is made from the California Riesling grape. Fermented dry, our Riesling pairs wonderfully with chicken and pork as well as with Asian and Mexican dishes. Slightly sweet with citrus, peach and pear flavors, our Riesling is our most versatile wine.
As seen in the last few years, New Zealand has put this variety back on the map. Their climate produces this crisp, fresh, herbaceous style of wine. Our style is quite different in that the raw material comes from the warmer climes of California, so the herbaceous character is not as intense but the structure is rounder and more luscious. Well-balanced and full-bodied, our Sauvignon Blanc will age longer in the bottle.
Our Semi-Sweet Riesling is our California-style Riesling that has been slightly sweetened to our vintners' taste and bottled in the special blue bottle. Riesling is of lighter weight and suitable to a wider range of foods from white fish or pork to stronger, spicy cuisine. The sweetness offers a good balance to foods that have a high salt content.

Fruit juices added to grape wines lead to some unique flavors. Unlike fruit wines that lose some of the fruit flavor during fermentation, our wines are flavored post-fermentation, keeping all the flavor and aroma one would expect of the fruit.
"Granny's Gold" is a Riesling enhanced with green apple juice.
"Just Peachy" is Fawn Creek Winery's peach Chardonnay. With a subtle peach bouquet and flavor, even those who don't enjoy a deliciously juicy peach have fallen in love with this light, refreshing wine.
"Kilbourn Red" is our cranberry-flavored Shiraz. Portions of the sales of Kilbourn Red are donated to the Adams County Sheriff's Office with great appreciation for sheriff deputies' efforts to keep us, our neighbors and our customers safe.
Our raspberry-flavored Pinot Noir, and one of our best sellers year after year. Has been featured in the Wisconsin Winery Association's Wine Garden over the past several runs of the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis.
Although the following wines are available seasonally on-site at the winery, they are provided year-round to retailers throughout the state.
"Black Bear-y" is Fawn Creek Winery's blackberry-flavored Merlot. A seasonal wine to help cure the doldrums of our Wisconsin winters. Available on-site during the fall and winter months.
A tropical-fruity Viognier, described by a customer as a "fruit salad in a bottle." Available on-site during the spring and summer months.
